What to attach to LaScala sides?

They build the doghouse separately and install it into the outer walls of the horn. In doing so, there can be slight variations in angle that cause the front corner to not necessarily be centered (and it doesn't matter acoustically).

Using a tape measure, you'll find that the center of the doghouse can be as much as 1/4" off the center of the mouth. This is why the braces end up different.

So not so much incorrect panels being cut, just misaligned when installed. Again I can see how tough this could be.

Double braces would be a bit excessive, one 1/2 - 5/8" brace would be plenty to keep the horn mouth from resonating.

lets agree to disagree on this. If you look at the top quality pro PA horns brace work is the order of the day and here we are talking low strength basic 3/4" fir ply wall here on both the cabinet sides and the dog house, these have limited strength when it come to resisting sub 100 Hz vibrations. Best regards Moray James.

Iv seen double bracing before, and like the looks, my Scalas are now stacked, this will be a good and functional fix, I thank Moray for reminding me of the double brace install.
