Cosmic_surfer
I finally got my wife into best buy, and showed her a few TVs that I liked. She is leaning towards a 60-70" sharp Q+ active 3d tv.... The picture is pretty gorgeous. Should I try and push her up to the 70?

derrickdj1
Get what fits the room and budget the best. I think you would be happy with either.

akdave
Or bigger! +1 I bought the Panasonic VT50 plasma 65" a couple of years ago, I think the picture quality is unrivaled. That said, I had come from a cheaper Mitsubishi 1080i projector on a 106" screen and I can tell you I miss the size! We are on the path back to a projector and screen, I miss the cinematic feel of that. If your room can handle it - and IMHO if you are movie watchers - go bigger. Scrappydue
Yeah I agree with the bigger part. If you have ANY way possible to work a projector in go with it. Otherwise I wouldn't spend much more money than what a 60" cost. Edited June 9, 2014 by Scrappydue
totalcomfort
Started with a 65 inch plasma, now have a 120 inch projector screen, size matters when you watch a movie. Look at the ben Q projectors, got projector, mount and screen off amazon for 1,500.00. Not the best out there but less than what I gave for my plasma.
