Ave Bona Cornwall
I'd definitely say that is a great find. They are just earlier versions of the KPT line. Essentially, Theater Cornscala's before Cornscala was a term. For $650, not a bad price. Edited June 26, 2014 by Ave Bona Cornwall
WMcD
I don't see any evidence in the pictures that the unit came out of a Klipsch factory. WMcD
Schu
indeed... they look home made to me.
spud77
Agreed I do not see anything that is similar to any of the KPT speakers I have owned. Looks like a Lascala-inspired top and a standard pa sub bottom in a combined cabinet.
Guest Steven1963
No serial #s and no manufacturers label...hmm. And that crossover . RED FLAGS. Edited June 26, 2014 by Steven1963
minermark
Not to be a Debbie downer, however something Creepy about those. Just think, another couple of "C" notes and you could have some La Scalas.
eth2
Don't think those are Dean's crossovers.
Boxx
Interesting find.... Not sure about them however...
minermark
Those crossovers, or whatever the hell they are supposed to be, look just like the ones I built when I was 12. Now I know how my dad felt when he was looking at my scabbed together speaker(s). Gave my dad one of those WTF ? moments I did . bhendrix
I worked for the largest Klipsch dealer in the country from 1970 thru 1980. I never saw a pair of Klipsch like those. I'm reasonably confident those are home-made.
Heritage_Head
Thanks for the input guys. I posted this as an alert and half as a question. They look pretty nice and he says all the drivers and horns are klipsch (no idea what that xo is). They might be worth a listen.
