ShapeShifter
Dee Dee Bridgewater's recent release titled "This Is New". She performs songs by German composer Kurt Weill. If you like Ella Fitzgerld, you will indeed enjoy Dee Dee's riveting vocals on this release. I've never been a big Bridgewater fan, but she impressed me with this one! ------------------ KLIPSCH IS MUSICf> My Systems f>s>c>

lynnm
" Also - Alison Krauss. Her stuff on the "O Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack sounds absolutely superb. Anyone have any recommendations on Krauss CD's? " so long so wrong - especially cut 10 Looking in the Eyes of Love Now That I've Found You Everytime You Say goodbye. Invidiosulus
Definately on of my favorites is Maura O'Connell, An irish singer with an absolutely stunning voice. Check out her "Blue is the colour of hope" album. She puts on an incredible live show, I've seen her twice and both times her vocals totally blew me away. Tracy Nelson, Also another gifted vocalist from the blues-folk scene. Peace, Josh

shoe11
Christina definitely has a strong voice, even if she at times gets carried away with trying to impress everyone with it. Now if only she would grow up and look and act like a vocalist, she'd really have a future. As it is, from the shops I've checked, there's lots of copies of her new album on the shelves. I'll add my new favorite female vocalist to this list. Check out Etta James "Her Best" on Chess records. The lady has an incredible voice. BTW just bought the new Alison Krauss disc. Very, very good. Playing the new Clapton live while I write this.
