CECAA850
About the only real gripe I have with ARC is the "projected" frequency response. I have no reason to think that it's not accurate but I'd still like to see a true "after" reading. In my system, the room was so bad (20dB spike around 55Hz) I used a BFD to EQ the LFE then ran ARC. Worked great.
MichaelandKlipsch
What is BFD?
CECAA850
Behringer Feedback Destroyer. It's basically a 12 channel PEQ. When I built my IB it was the preferred method of handling bass issues in the room. In the last 8 years or so, other methods have become popular, minidsp for example. Me Loves Khorns
Very interesting mix of the various eras of Klipsch speakers. I'm almost the opposite. Jub's in front with Palladium for center. Love that too.

derrickdj1
Interesting things, with some of the Heritage and extended Heritage speakers you need a small sub. With many of the Reference line, you need a bigger sub depending on use.
Moderators Youthman Posted January 21, 2016 Author Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2016 Yes, heritage don't have much "slam" like the Reference but the bass they produce is incredibly smooth.
