Matthews
Anyone have an M-80 laying around, collecting dust. Looking for an M-80 or something close (M60/65/80/85) I used to have one of these when I first got started (again) with 2-channel and would like to have one again. Just throwing a line out, thanks... Quiet_Hollow
Matt, Check three or four pages into the Garage Section here. I swear I saw someone trying to unload one of these just a month or two ago. Cheers, QH

USNRET
I know a guy, let me send him a text. He's in Atlanta. Text sent. He has an M80 that I checked out to troubleshoot his matching pre that had relay issues. Amp sounded great on the Chorus IIs. Matthews
M-65 in "excellent" condition - ON ITS WAY Worked with seller for $299 shipped. He/she has excellent seller ratings on many high end audio items. Have confidence with purchase. Love these old Yammy's. Can't wait to see how it sounds with the Scala's... It's not an M-80 but I think 170 wpc will be plenty. Edited August 24, 2014 by Matt 1970
opusk2k9
Good luck. I love the old Yamaha amps. I have the M-80, T-80, C-80 set, the MX-800, and the MX-1000 with CX-630. My La Scala with the MX-1000, barely hits 5W and it is getting too loud in the basement.
USNRET
Glad it worked out as I just got a response. It is a M-90 and not for sale although the non-working C-90 would be sold for parts (or repair)
Matthews
Glad it worked out Thank you "USNRET" Can not say I have ever heard of or seen an M-90. Excited to do a little research... Have a great day!

Matthews
Yamaha M-/MX- amp info: Love it! The only description they give for the MX-10,000 "Only 250 of these made, and it is rumored to cure any disease." LOL!
