Scrappydue
Johnny that amp wouldn't cut it on a big 18" driver.
johnnydrama
I'm just saying, he was considering a 500 watt Dayton plate amp in his initial post. It's always good to have options, and not everyone is looking, needs, or wants to spend the money to squeeze out every last drop of performance. Scrappydue
I hear ya but he wants to do a single large enclosure to get the BEST sound possible. And he will get much better bass from a pro amp with built in eq capabilities than he would from any plate amp. I'm just trying to make sure he does it right from the get go. JiminSTL
Scrappy and others with the iNuke 3000. Does that amp have an "Auto on" feature, or must I physically turn it on--or off--whenever I want to use it in my system?
derrickdj1
No auto on. There are ways around that where it will automatically switch on with system startup.
alexg5775
I have a dayton sa1000 rackable subwoofer amp. I am very very happy. The inuke 3000 is also a very good option. IF you ever plan on getting another sub you would already have the extra channel in the inuke ready to power it up. What is you budget? If you want to keep it to a small space and looking for the best sound/sub possible look into the tc sounds lms ulra 5400. They require a small space and take tons of power with tons of displacement. Might be worth saving up a little longer for this puppy. Alex Edited September 19, 2014 by alexg5775
