tigerwoodKhorns
OK, now you gotta let the truth get in the way of a good story.
gary p
Sorry all, but Jimmy page was the talent there, with Bonham a close second and one of the best drummers of all time. The classic 70s front man. Great, but third out of four.

Ceptorman
Sorry all, but Jimmy page was the talent there, with Bonham a close second and one of the best drummers of all time. The classic 70s front man. Great, but third out of four. Plant was probably 4th in the talent line of LZ. I would put JPJ second, have you ever seen him play a guitar or mandolin? He is probably better than many well known guitarist. Very accomplished on a keyboard also. He has written, produced, and played the music in quite a few movie soundtracks. Page was lucky to have him.
gary p
Meant no disrespect to jpj. I agree. Just didn't want to seem like I was trashing plant. One of my favorite groups of all time. Bought their albums as they came out and enjoyed them with friends. Bought them again in every format that followed. Those were happy days. mark1101
You can see ZOSO for around $20.00. Saw them twice in the Georgia Theater..........that's all the Zep you will need for awhile.

I think Plant knows where he ranked in the LZ lineup. He was on "Later with Jools Holland" last week, and in the interview he mentioned he has always surrounded himself with great musicians and creative people. I saw LZ back in the 1977, the best part of the show was when they all were on barstools playing a whole acoustic set.
