eth2
Can't believe you are still trying to unload these. They must be growing hair by now.

eth2
I just made Carl an offer prior to the "growing hair" post. But I defer to you young man.

The History Kid
Of course, if I waited long enough, he might just give me one. They've lasted this long somehow.
CECAA850
No firm commitments. These are still for sale.
Hornmiester
A "firm" offer on a "squeezebox" seems counterintuitive. Or does it?
The History Kid
Has anyone experimented with this device and Windows 8.1? I've seen people using it with Vista, and 7...but I don't know how well it interacts with 8.1.
USNRET
Has anyone experimented with this device and Windows 8.1? I've seen people using it with Vista, and 7...but I don't know how well it interacts with 8.1. from: http://support.logitech.com/product/squeezebox-duet Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 Mac OS X 10.5.x - 10.9.x The ONLY issue I have had with using Duets is in the wireless mode at a distance and having to push the button for a reset (just like any wireless operation) but then I have 30+ components on my network with a router and 6 different switches that are connected to international VOIP, XBox, PS-3, Wii, pre-pro, Oppo, UPCs, laptops, desktops, Mac Mini, AppleTV, Cache componets to switch from HT to 2 channel, and schitt I don't remember. In other words, the Duet is pretty stable but when my router takes a tumble I have to re-boot. But to NOT answer your question: no, I have used only XP and 7. The History Kid
See, you wouldn't think we have spotty internet or network management here, but for some reason our router takes a tumble every week. This is the third unit we've gotten from CenturyLink too...so I can't figure out what the issue is. It's good to know there's at least support out there for 8. I'll need to do some more research. My brother might be interested, but maybe even more so my mother - as she's trying to minimalize components, and converting CD's to digital for streaming would be fantastic.
