Gorm
Probably in the 1985-1987 timeline. Perhaps a member can help me by looking at the serial numbers. Pictures do not do these things justice, they really are beautiful. They are in very good condition. Consecutive servial numbers. All orginial components. Rareish brown cloth? I almost always see black cloth on these KG's. This is a brown / gray weve. Pictures: Pictures showing the browish cloth:

jimjimbo
My understanding is that the forum protocol is for you to post an asking price if you are selling. Moderators I'm sure will jump in here. Oh, and btw, nice speakers and nice photos.... Edited February 5, 2015 by jimjimbo
BusaDude
The first 2 digits of the serial number are the year... 1986 Next 2 digits are the week... 26th week of 1986 Last 3 or 4 digits are the number of that pair. The "WO" is Walnut Oiled. Very nice for a pair of KG4's, since you almost never see them without pushed in or wrinkled dust covers. Depending on condition, veneer, location and willingness of any given buyer, they tend to be listed for $150—$400 a pair.

I figured there was probably a rhyme and reason to that number. Also, to be fair, there is some slight winking on those rear drivers, but they aren't pressed in. teaman
They look really nice. I just received my pair of KG4's this afternoon that I scooped off a late night Ebay auction. Haven't had a chance to open them up and see them...tomorrow!
