Mallette
What would you bet his last word as he slipped the surly bonds of human existence was "Fascinating!" Dave

Mallette
Damn tobacco!!! Indeed. We live in a world where a harmless weed with extraordinary properties gets you prison, but where a deadly, addictive poison is sold in convenience stores. Go figger... WMcD
“I object to you. I object to intellect without discipline. I object to power without constructive purpose.” T.S. gave a link to the NYT. The article appeared on page 1 of the National Edition (what is available in Chicago), though (disappointingly) below the fold. Still, pretty good placement for an obit. In Chicago we have the world's best classical music station, WFMT. It streams if you want to listen. During the Jewish holidays there are performances of liturgical music and some narration by Nemoy reading from the scriptures. In this, as in other realms, he was very classy. Bryant0086
Oh wow !! First I have heard of this. I was away a few days and internet deprived. My heart goes out to his family. My heart also goes out to Trekkers. He was a good character, but also a good man to his fans. He attended MANY of those ST conventions, up until his health would not allow.
