sean5340
Well the weather is perfect today down in Houma. I might as well enjoy it. These outdoor speakers were mounted on the back of the house at the pool when I bought it. For some reason they sounded very thin so I replaced them. I currently use two zones on my Onkyo receiver and have a 3rd powered zone, I might as well put it to use.
sean5340
I had to figure out a way to mount them to soffit so that I could take advantage of the corner.
sean5340
It worked out really well. These speakers actually sound great now. I think the combination of mounting and being in a zone with two other pairs were not letting these speakers shine. They are Sonance 62's. CECAA850
I love it, great job!. Patio speakers really make the back yard come alive. I used mine this weekend as I BBQ'd.
Klipschsonian
Looks nice, would be great to enjoy drinks and steaks outdoors. Ever think about screening it in
Ceptorman
WOW…..if I had some speakers like that I could've listened to music while I shoveled snow
Klipschsonian
Just noticed Sean is in Houma LA. I played in the Dizzy Dean Sophmores World Series there in the 90's

sean5340
This is pretty awesome now. I have a pair of speakers mounted under the covered patio on the left. They are on zone 2 along with the speakers facing the pool and the inside kitchen. To the far right is the fire pit and BBQ area. This will eventually be an outdoor kitchen. This is where I did the install yesterday on zone 3. I now have gap-less music moving around the entire house and back yard. The Onkyo receiver is great for multi zones. The Onkyo app allows me to stream from my Android phone and is great for Sirius and Pandora. Edited March 9, 2015 by sean5340
