Has anyone had a problem with entering the story teller contest. I have tried twice and each time it bounces back to my email with this:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

amber.huff@klipsch.com

I am entering the contest at the Klipsch story teller page.

Any idea's out there to what the problem might be?

When I submitted my story, I also got error messages. I got an email from amber saying they had fixed it. It turned out that my story had uploaded even though the system told me it had not.

Before you drive yourself nuts, check the list of posted stories and make sure that your's isn't there already.

Your story should have still gone through. The problem is that it was being CC'd to Amber who was an intern, but her internship ended a couple of weeks ago and so her email account was closed. The result being that undeliverable message you received.

The story should have gotten through to Joshua still, since his email address is the main one that the stories are being sent to. I've removed Amber from the CC so the error should not happen again. Sorry about that!

Ray,

I hope you dont mind, but I printed your story and sent it to Mrs. Valerie Klipsch. I thought she would want to read it...

Knowing Paul, I am sure he was glad to help and knew your pain, having been there himself once.

Your friend,

Trey

Wow, I just read Ray's story. Very touching and very incredible. Granted this is ten years too late, but my condolances and glad you have since found peace. I have a feeling you just may get a new pair of Klipschorns whether you want them or not (if you don't I can find a very nice home for them Smile.gif ).

FYI, as for CPR, current training indicates that if you are alone, the very first thing you should do is to call for help, then start CPR. The reason being is that the sooner you get professional help on the way the better.

To add - That is a powerful image in my head - picturing you (although I have no idea what you actually look like), standing on your deck in the middle of a raging storm facing the beach with Bach's Toccatta blasting so loud that even your neighbors came out to see what was going on. I can just about feel your pain and anguish in losing somebody you so loved.

Clearly Ray's story is exactly what the contest is about, a human story reminding us of the strange relationship between "real" life, our audio hobby and love for music. Klipsch is showing us the wildly diverse human community whose only tie is their admiration of their Klipsch products and love for music. What a great way to affirm the concept of a virtual community. My vote goes to Ray, as a ejemplar member of our Klipsch forum, and as the Klipsch storyteller winner! warm regards, Tony
