willland
I have a very nice pair of Klipsch RS-52's for sale in very good condition, perfect copper woofers, no tears in grill cloths, only one tiny "blemish" to mention and it is located on a rear corner. These speakers sound fantastic and would complement any of the Reference series from III to V(Ref II). The price of $350.00 shipped includes of course a very nice pair of RS-52's, incredible packing to ensure safe arrival, a new 25ft spool of 12 gauge speaker wire, Fed Ex Ground shipping in CONTUS, and I eat the Paypal fees. I prefer payment with PayPal but only for "established" and well spoken for members of this great community to protect both parties in this transaction. Otherwise I will consider a personal check but will only ship after check clears. Of course there is always cold hard $$$ and local pickup or "reasonable" delivery. Thanks to all. Moderators Youthman Posted August 22, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2015 Awesome speakers at a great price! Bill is a great seller as well. Just curious why PayPal to only established members and check is ok for non-established members. Seems like it would be the other way around
willland
Awesome speakers at a great price! Bill is a great seller as well. Thanks Michael. Just curious why PayPal to only established members and check is ok for non-established members. Seems like it would be the other way around Good question. I have not used PayPal since the separation from Ebay and have heard many complain about the quirky new rules and some bad experiences. PayPal is more favorable to the buyer. A personal check is a better way to protect the seller because he can wait until the check clears before shipping. Of course my new policies are subject to change based on comfortable(trusting) virtual and telephone dialog with potential buyer. I have had nothing but great experiences with buying and selling here on this great forum and other sites with well known members and newcomers. Just wanted to keep that almost perfect streak going. calhockey10
What's the best way to put these speakers if I'm using them for rear surround speakers in a 5.1 setup. Do I hang them on the rear or side wall or get stands and put them behind the seating area?
Moderators Youthman Posted August 23, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 23, 2015 Dolby and THX recommend placing surrounds on the side walls about 10 degrees behind your listening position in a 5.1 system

Scrappydue
wheres my commission???
calhockey10
haha thank you scrappy the commission is on the way. I believe he is using smaller surrounds RS 35 because it fits the room and the way it matches up on the wall it looks really good he said. I could be wrong but I think that is what he is using.
