Nismo
Interesting launch of chemical vapor tracers by NASA into the atmosphere tonight over the east coast. Seems to be an effort that has been in practice since the 50's. Anybody catch anything unusual in the sky over the east coast tonight? http://gizmodo.com/a-nasa-experiment-is-going-to-light-up-the-sky-with-bea-1735168250

derrickdj1
I wonder what is the end point of doing this.
Nismo
I wonder what is the end point of doing this. Even more important... is if one actually believes the "reason" NASA releases to the public. A considerable majority of NASA activities fall under the Dept.of Defense & by their origin are categorized with classified status.

Nismo
Didn't want to start a new thread for this, but somewhat related to NASA & the same theme. ===================== Here's just your average shot of the nighttime sky... right? Nismo
Nope. Not really. It's actually a shot of the nighttime sky...... as seen from Mars. Here's the tiny little speck of light that we all live on. (Seems rather insignificant doesn't it?): Edited October 9, 2015 by Nismo

fuzzydog
This experiment is to show them where to release the poison gas when it's time to jettison New Jersey from the union.
