doc1623
I think the OP is using his PC as a preamp. Depending on his sound card - that will determine which adapters he will need. If hes coming out of 3.5 jacks on his onboard sound he will need 3.5 to rca adapters, or 3.5 to rca stereo cables .....which I also have in abundance. Wow... that would be perfect! I'm a linux/unix guy but I'm not familiar how to do that. I use my media center to play music files... flac, mp3, or ogg. Any idea what sound card he's using! doc1623
Thank You for all the reply's. I did pull the trigger on the AB International. I have discovered that some preamps have the XLR connections but they do seem to be higher end (if I can just find the right price ). I'm on to the preamp/processor and would love more responses on that. I don't mind if they are here or in a new post I created but I imagen the mods would prefer the new one . Eitherway! please keep'm coming! Thanks Guys/Gals!!! https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/161589-best-preampdecoder/

derrickdj1
As Bill stated, Acurus amps are really nice as well as the old Yamaha M 70 amps. Depending what you are looking for, the range from around $200 for 2 ch or $600 for multichannel amp.

willland
but I was asking about preamps/processor. I have the amp covered now! I have been very pleased with my NAD pre/pro. Mighty Favog
You might be able to find a McIntosh MC-7106 for about $1k if you look around long enough. Edited January 29, 2016 by Mighty Favog
