twistedcrankcammer
Those are some of the poorest subs Klipsch ever made. I would expect Colter to put his opinion in when he is on line. Roger
twk123
I would also make sure everyone viewing this knows that these subs are for live music and NOT a home theater application. They are dual 18'' subs but only go down to 44hz.

jjptkd
I know I've heard they sound bad before but having owned a pair I thought they were good for what they are. I will say that I experienced bad sound from these right out of the gate but after a few amplifier changes I was able to get good "woof" sound out of them. They really need A LOT of power or else they sound loose and flappy. About 600 watts RMS (or more) each and they tighten up and add a good amount of low end fill for the KP-250's giving them that throaty bass in the lower midrange that they lack without these subs. They are not home theater subs as mentioned above. Edited March 2, 2016 by jjptkd
JohnA
I bought a pair to use at coffeehouses (and whatever) at my church. I did not find them bad at all, powered by a good sized Crown amp at moderate volumes. I use HIPs on top crossed at 100 Hz with an electronic crossover. Anybody got a spec sheet on them?
