Never heard the Forte II's. How do they compare to the version 1's?

Very similar except the tractrix midrange makes for a smoother and better balanced presentation.  I have both the forte II and the chorus II.  They both to my ears are better than cornwalls, and while the chorus make a bigger sound stage, they don't hit as low and cleanly as the forte IIs nor have the balance.  All are better than good though, but the cornwall needs the tractrix like it has in the mk III.

Ah I see. Yeah I always enjoyed how low the Forte 1's could dig. Given the Chorus II box is bigger, how come they didn't go as low if not lower?

You might  have to ask Chief Bonehead on that one.  There was a reason P. Klipsch had forte IIs in his office for his listening pleasure.

Thank you everyone for your congratulation, I really enjoy it! I really love the sound stage, it has immerses me in the music. So overwhelmed!

When I have more budget for audio, I will find a tube amp for it because I found the vocal on Chorus is not as detailed and acoustic as Kef reference 101 (I am sorry but it is 'true' in my audio 'system' and my ears ) . Perhaps the amplifier (McIntosh 2 50 ) is not suitable for Chorus 2, I guess?

I'd order a pair of Crites Ti tweeter diaphragms for 60 bucks. Really brings forth the detail without being harsh. I have them installed in my C2s. It's fairly easy to do.
