luddite
Is there any way to acquire replacement grills for Cornwalls? My current ones are beyond repair, and I would like to start over rather than try to fix something unfixable.
Karsoncookie
I'm sorry but I don't know how the frames are made, attach etc. I also assume new frames could be easily made and attached by velcro, magnets, snap in plastic connectors, or attractive screws. Need a new frame with no woodshop? Consider this - http://www.canvasstretcherframes.com/ I'm a newbie, but just wanted to say if you can just replace the cloth, many choices are readily available. And it doesn;t have to be "Speaker grille fabric", but ANY cloth sufficiently acoustically transparent Lars
Budman
if your grill boards are in good condition and you just need cloth contact bob crites http://www.critesspeakers.com/ cornwall grills rarely come up on ebay for sale cornwall grills are not interchangeable between series 1-2 or 3's so post your serial numbers Edited June 22, 2016 by Budman

jason str
Stencil out some paper and make your own frame, you can pick your own fabric of choice to wrap it with when you are done.

luddite
I think making my own frame and fitting my own cloth may be my only choice. The existing grill boards are cracked, and the grill cloth is pretty ratty. I'm in the SoCal area right now. I was trying to save myself the effort by purchasing replacements, but haven't had much luck finding them. Speakers are 1983.
jason str
Even better, just copy the old frame. Lots of great fabric choices out there, don't feel obligated to copy the factory look.
