NOSValves
This is funny. I can't believe klipsch parts people don't know what woofer Lascalas take. My email to klipsch I have just acquired a set a Industrial Lascala's and have found that someone changed the woofers and didn't even use the same woofer in both speakers. What I would like to know is what woofer will work properly in these and what is available. I won't be using these speakers in a industrial fashoin just home use with a 20 Watt max tube amp. The serial number are 3264 and 3267. Also could you possibly tell me what year these are ? Thanks Craig Ostby There response Thank you for your inquiry. Our records show that the woofer used for the La Scala is a K-85-K (part# 129060) and cost is $100 per woofer. We currently have the woofer in stock. If you are interested in placing an order or have further questions, please contact us at 1-800-554-7724 and option 3 for the parts dept. As far as the year, I can't find a specific year for your speakers. ------------------ HH Scott 299 Amp HH Scott LT-110B Tuner HH Scott P-87 Turn Table JVC JL-F50 Turn Table Sony CDP-CA7ES CD Drive 1985 Walnut Heresey I W/Layne Audio Woofers KSW-15 Subs>c>

edster00
Call Klipsch on their toll free number and ask for Trey Cannon! He'll get you the correct part without a doubt. No one know Klipsch parts better than ole Trey! BTW how long did it take you to get a response to your email? I have never gotten a response from Klipsch to an email (but then again I haven't tried in a year or more).

WMcD
My recall is that the LaScala has always used the K-33, the same as used on the Cornwall, Belle, and K-Horn. Industrial LaScala's used the K-34. It was a beefed up version of the K-33. There have been some reports that the 34 gave away some frequency response in the interest of durability. Others can comment on the serial numbers. Gil
djk
You want a K33E, Klipsch #121501 for your LaScala. A K85K is the high frequency horn from a KG 5.2, LOL. The K34E is for a Cornwall II. The K43E was the original LaScala Industrial woofer.
Shockoman
Craig..at least you got a reply! I've sent several e-mails to parts and tech support trying to locate the grill cover logos for the '81 CWs I bought earlier this year. I've gotten nothing back from them..very disappointing! I am a customer service representative here at Klipsch and I inadvertenly looked at the wrong line when responding to your email and was not thinking about your original question when responding. NOSValves
Parts CSR It is great that you are checking the forum for problems and shows great integrity owning up to your mistake. It was really no big deal. I knew what the proper woofer was for the Hmoe version of the lascala just wanted to know what was available and maybe what year they were more than anything. Thanks Craig
