dbomberger
I really hate the idea of doing this, but just don't have other options at the moment. I'm using the Cornwalls for my TV, but hate the sound of music that comes out of my Home Theatre-and my Pioneer SX-1250 is sitting forlorn and unused. Is there any reason sonically that I should avoid doing this in the short-term. As soon as I get my TV mounted on the wall, I will have room where the TV now sits, but that is awaiting an agreement with the wife, etc.

CECAA850
The only issue I can think of is vibration. You might put a towel and rubber mat in-between the two.
muel
Make sure you protect the top of the speaker... that thing is heavy!
jimjimbo
I would put down a thick towel first, then a piece of plywood or something to distribute the weight. I have 1250's also, and I know how heavy they are.no issues p>
derrickdj1
If there is room, you can always make a small platform 20 X20 for the floor and sat the Pioneer on that near the speakers.
