DizRotus Posted November 27, 2016 Author Share Posted November 27, 2016 The FM5 is ~50 years old. The appearance and operation are very good considering it's age. If I were to keep it, I would go through it to check all solder joints. There is a dodgy connection. One channel will occasionally cut out. A tap on the case restores the dropped channel. I have not used it for years. The Quadaptor was completely rewired and worked perfectly when I last used it a few years ago. I feel each is easily worth the cost of shipping. I want them to be used. If you agree, let me know your Zip Code and I'll estimate shipping. If you expect a "free" vintage tuner to be plug and play and cosmetically perfect, you should pass. If I recall correctly it was in response to a rash of 10-15 year-old threads being bumped by persons unknown and reasons unknown.
