DizRotus
Spartans trying to break Duke's home nonconference win streak. Probably not going to happen, but watching Miles Bridges almost makes the final outcome irrelevant.
Ceptorman
It's that time of year, college hoops is always exciting. MSU is hanging with Duke, good game. Indiana has a big game against North Carolina tomorrow night.
DizRotus
Finally, an 11 - 0 run ends.
Ceptorman
Some teams are almost unbeatable at home. Duke sure has a strong bench.
DizRotus
MSU's young team will be there at the end of the season.
wvu80
I saw legendary Georgetown play the other day at home on ESPN. We have two local high schools in my town with bigger gyms. I bet that place didn't hold 2,000.
DizRotus
That's a good estimate. McDonough Gymnasium has a capacity of 2,500. The Hoya's women's basketball team plays home games there. The men's team plays there only occasionally for unimportant games. The Hoya's regular home arena is Verizon Center, which has a capacity for basketball of 20,600.
Ceptorman
Wow that's a very small gym. I believe it was 14 out of the top 15 largest high school gyms in the country are located in Indiana. New Castle HS holds close to 10k. The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is in that town also, about 30 minutes east of Indy. I went there a few months ago and met a couple players they were inducting that day, Calbert Chaney and Damon Bailey. Bailey is still holds the high school record for points made. Bobby Knight first saw Bailey play in the 5th grade, starting recruiting him shortly after.
JL Sargent
Kentucky looks crazy good already. It's hard for me to get going on Basketball with all this good football going on though. It's a long time til March Madness.
Ceptorman
Yea it is just starting, some very good games so far though. I watched Indiana put a beating on North Carolina last night.
Ceptorman
Steve Alford's UCLA team just knocked off Kentucky in Kentucky, scored 97....impressive.

wvu80
Ohio State lost to Florida Atlantic (3-5) at home! Not "wow"...but "yuck."
DizRotus
The young Spartans refused to get pushed around at home by the pesky Penguins. Please get healthy soon Miles Bridges.
wvu80
I have to stop watching my beloved Mountaineers on TV just now as they pound Western Carolina. It's just not necessary to beat someone that bad. WVU has forced 30 turnovers so far. With the score at 72-18 and 10 minutes left, I think we can stop pressing now.
Ceptorman
I was hoping to go to the Crossroads Classic basketball tournament this weekend, but a hurt finger will keep me home. Notre Dame plays Purdue, IU plays Butler. They're all ranked in the top 20.

DizRotus
I was. Take care of your finger. Don't let anyone hit you in the nose again (another joke). I see we're in a race to 5,000.
