carlthess40
It is. It’s heavy at 90lbs. Full class A power amp. Makes my 5 channel Marantz MM7055 look like a toy. LolSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

carlthess40
I did not mean to down grade the marantz, it’s a great amp. It’s a newer model and different design of ampSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
richieb
Does the Krell require a dedicated 20 amp circuit? And do you know the power draw at idle? I've owned Class A monos that sucked enough power to actually affect my power bill! And looked at amps that was suggested separate circuits for each amp I.e. a 20 amp line to each amp. Thought I'd ask about the Krells requirements early on, Thanks. Edit - sorry I should have researched first rather than vice-versa. Krell advises a dedicated 20 amp line for best performance and is a requirement for the 250 series.
carlthess40
I think in the 150 it’s. 15 amp and it draws 500 watts at idle and they run hotSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
carlthess40
I do have 3 of the Krell KAV 500 two channel amps. Most of them were 5 channel but these are 2 channel. And I think they don’t suck up as much amps. I’d need to look up the specs. And those are for sale. Just make an offer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
