dtr20
So I picked up this panel painting at Count's Kustoms. I want to frame it to hang it. I want to put it in a glass panel frame to protect the signature in sharpie by the artist. Would there be a problem putting car paint and clear coat under glass? oldtimer
Probably not. Consult your local expert frame shop.
JJkizak
You might try experimenting on another piece of glass to see what sticks. There are some types of woods that I use that don't like paint. JJK
dtr20
Just to be clear, this panel is sheet metal painted to look like woodSent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
Schu
Don't use glass... use non glare UV plexi/acrylic and keep the panel face/surface suspended behind the plexiglass by using a small matte or floating mount. Don't let the painting face to come in contact with the clear covering. I am in that area all the time... Danny's a good guy. Do you mind how much you happened to pay for that panel? Did you happen to go to welderup while you were in that area? I think Steve darnell is much better builds than counts customs.... but he very different. He's got a nice evel knievel collection.
