KTM 888
Hello I’m new here. I’m currently remodeling my basment and would like to update my system. I just don’t know what to purchase. My theater/media room is in the basement size 30x20 with an 8ft ceiling that is exposed (not dry walled). Seating area 10ft from viewing area. I currently have old Denon 990 F3 fronts F2 surr back C2 center S1 surr SVS PB12 plus/2 SW450 I have purchased the Denon 8500 and two R115 SW already. I’m lost as to what to purchase do to the exposed ceiling with atmos. Note I’m replacing old system and have a remaining budget of $3,180.

wuzzzer
I think there is coming to be a point where there's just too many speakers in a setup. Instead of spreading your money so thin why don't you just go with a really good 5.2.2 setup or something like that?
Fish
Working Atmos in may be fine but I do agree the number of speakers is gettin; pretty far out. Quality over quantity is still a good practice. 1
K T
A set or 2 of the aw-650 may work well for your atmos. Enclosed boxes that have a mounting bracket that can be attached to your ceiling joists and aimed. My 2 cents. https://www.klipsch.com/products/aw-650-outdoor-speaker
