Please could help me to decide on the right Speakers?

I'm an old guy.  I lived in homes that I could have Floor Speakers and a Stereo.  Right now I'm in a smaller place using music off my Mp3 Player and PC. I listen to a lot CD's, the LP's take too much room.  (I ordered  the best Asus Sound Card for Stereo, from Amazon).  I am brand new to the Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speaker, I'm not a gamer, I just listen to music.  The 2  Speakers I think might be right.  R-51PM ($424)  and the Sixes ($479).  What do you all think?   The Sixes look cool, that is not that important to me, 6" Woofer may help the bass.  it would help the room problem if I did not have to buy a Sub Woofer.  The model is a couple  years old now.  Has the tech improved that much on the new R-51PM or is it just a better speaker?  Reviews are good on both and stereo stores with trained people seem to be gone and they did not have these speakers to listen to.   Which do you like? Is there a near priced speaker you like better?  FYI I choose Klipsch because I have stuck with them since 1978 and been very happy.  Thank you in advance for your help. George

No problem, just friends asking questions here.

The Sixes are a good choice.  I heard them at a Pilgrimage and was impressed.

I agree with Carl that a receiver and unpowered speakers are a better choice for sound.  Have a look at these:

This compact Denon includes a CD player and FM tuner.

Thank you for help again.  I love my big Klipsch speakers.  I don't know model numbers of my old speakers.  The first pair I paid $800 a pair

Paper Route

money) they were unfinished plywood they were the best Soeakers I've ever owned I gave them away, mistake.   I used them for 25 or so years.  Then I got some 5 foot finished oak Klipsch speakers I remember they were $1,200 a Speaker.  They are in storage for the short term.  They are still great.  One of the reasons I love Klipsch, my Speakers seem to last forever, they out live all the electronics (although when I find something I like I stick to it even my out dated electronics).  The kids in the family make fun; I'm still a stereo guy with music.  I'm not an audiophile with trained ears like you all.  I used to love going to a Stereo Store and work with people with a real interest and a good ear.  Those days are gone.  That is why I'm uptight about even going to a powered Bookshelf Speaker.  Once the electronics are gone the speaker is too, I would guess. I went to Best Buy to listen to what I could, they were a bit in your face sounding and they are don't sound like what I'm used too,  regardless of what salesman said (he was a nice guy) comparing Big Speakers to Little Speakers of today.   The little Speakers of today do sound better than the bookshelf Speakers of old and are better than Bose computer speakers. I use now.  The Headphones of today are better now; I just stared getting into 250ohm models, I never used Headphones.  You all are great to help.  I hate to buy from a spec sheet. It might be another 20 year investment! I want to like it!

I feel like old Phil Spector with the "Back to Mono" button.  Bring back the old, local Stereo Stores with people who love their product and take time to learn it. (I'm much happier then Phil Spector)
