Randy Bey
I think that song by the purple dinosaur, Barney, you know... "I love you, you love me..." Oh, wait, by blast worthy music you meant music to play loud? In that case, almost anything by Jefferson Airplane. In fact, they are mastered to sound best very very loud. Take White Rabbit, for example. PJ Harvey. To Bring you my Love. I play that puppy so loud the ceiling tiles shake and dust falls down. Heh. B-52's, almost anything. Especially "Dance this Mess Around", I turn that album up and up and up until the refrain "Why don't you dance with me, I'm not no Limberger" can be heard down the block. Well, there are many others but they are in the also-ran category.
speed3
I didn't see Radiohead listed anywhere. They've got some seriously heavy bass that will drive people out of the room.
mike stehr
Radiohead's first album is cool, the newest stuff is kinda, I don't know.... I'm not terribly fond of the music on TOOL's new album, but it is a good recording and really shines on tubes for some strange reason. IMHO.
