Seadog
Here are some photos of Comet Neowise that I shot over the weekend. Brightest comet in over 20 years, but not nearly as spectacular as Hale-Bopp in 1996-97. Still, it is worth getting out the binoculars to look for it after sundown (under the big dipper). I live in the middle of the DFW Metroplex where the light pollution is horrible, but still was able to get some decent images. Saturday night over my house. Sunday night over Lake Grapevine. Sunday night (300 mm lens).

oldtimer
I tried last night around 0100, but my homegrown forest was either in the way, or I was too late.

Last night in my area it was too overcast in the NW sky to see anything. The comet is setting a little later each night. Sunday night by 11pm CDT it was too low too see. Get out about 1 hr after sunset for the best chance to see it.
Skelt
Nice photos I haven't been able to take one. However. I've seen it twice in the past week with an 8 x 48 orion. If anyone in the neighborhood wants to stop by for a peak send me a pm. Not mine but you get the idea.
