Dunkeytron
Hey all, Figured I'd post these here hoping someone buys them so I don't! A little resto project if someone has the time. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/592390022458110/?referralUIComponent=marketplace_price_drop_notif_seller_promotion¬if_id=1659028487379880¬if_t=marketplace_price_drop&ref=notif
Shakeydeal
That's a good deal. It's the price those were going for (in this area) about 5 years ago.
Dunkeytron
It is! Only been up for a few days, and they already lowered the price a bit. I already bought, worked on, and sold a pair of Forte 1s earlier this year, otherwise I'd be all over these. Tempting though.
tigerwoodKhorns
I thought that the Forte I was ported. Interesting that they use a smaller passive. My Forte IIs have a 15" passive. The foam inside of the Forte II and Chorus II are both exactly the same size. Slightly different foam, but that is probably a supplier issue. Dunkeytron
Yeah, 12" passive for the 1s. Plenty of bass response still! Haven't heard a set of IIs with the larger passive, but hope to at some point. I feel like I haven't been able to find a clear consensus as to whether people prefer the 12" on the 1 or the 15" on the II.
billybob
For even money, the 2s are the best deal. Liked the forte' but the 2s are more sought after and agree. Do a search. Just like the Chorus model debate.
geezin'
Bass appears to be very subjective. I seem to prefer less than most.
geezin'
Surprised no one has picked them up yet.
