Silverfoxvtx1800
I have a pair of Forte IVs, can anyone recommend a amp? It’s for two channel which needs RCA inputs to hookup to the Bluesound Node. My budget isn’t great, $1500…Someones recommendation is the Audiolab 6000A or the 6000A play….they have 50 watts.. anyones advice is greatly appreciated…. Been reading about the amp you mentioned here so, not unknown. Looks like you are into streaming. Any interest in turntable for records? Remote control? That amount should give you options into something nice. Thanks! @Silverfoxvtx1800
Shakeydeal
I am assuming you don't have a preamp and want an integrated. Here is one that fits your budget and would be a good performer. https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649890379-audio-research-integrated-tube-amp/ Here is another option https://www.usaudiomart.com/details/649887296-rogue-audio-tempest-ii-super-magnum/
Silverfoxvtx1800
I will be doing just streaming. I airplay all my music to the Node….

billybob
Well, 50 genuine watts would work alright. It is just 100 watts could give you more headroom. Depending on how loud the music you listen to. Look at Yamaha integrated amps in case one should strike your fancy. If not then, at least you can have that brand behind you. billybob
Reading the reviews here: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_2486000AS/Audiolab-6000A-Silver.html#customer-reviews-tab
billybob
And do a search on the forum here. Got some members that are speaking about that model with and without the "Play".
billybob
After reading the reviews about the headroom, think may be powerful enough for some there. Good thing is, a 60 day return policy, at least with this company.
