Rakkmutt
Good day! I'm currently using some RF 82 II's and a R 112SW, but I want to upgrade. A deal on some used Cornwall III's has showed up nearby, however they are approx. 2800$ (link in norwegian - https://www.finn.no/326589954). For comparison new Cornwall IV's are around 9000$ here. Any thoughts on the linked set? I feel like Klipsch is a bit overpriced here and wonder if this would be worth it.
Peter P.
Unfortunately, non-U.S. countries suffer when it comes to experiencing Klipsch Heritage speakers, probably due to high shipping costs of such heavy items. Since Cornwalls are a rare find overseas, and the price is very reasonable for that rare item, I'd grab them. I'd bet you could recover much of the expenditure by selling your current speaker set, offsetting the purchase price even more. The jumpers on the rear panel are not OEM, but they do the job so I wouldn't fret those. Report back with your impressions should you buy them! Flevoman
The price of both speakers is exactly like here in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, here in Europe we have to pay a bit more 🙄
KT88
I think that's pretty much the price in Europe. When I just saw the Norwegian advert for the CW3, I noticed that a little further down is a La Scala II for 40,000 Norwegian kroner. Whilst the price for the CW3 is normal I would say that the La Scala II is a bargain. Of course it's a higher sum, but if you have the space and can afford it, I'd go for the La Scala in a heartbeat. https://www.finn.no/bap/forsale/ad.html?finnkode=332029204
