thebes Posted January 14 Share Posted January 14 I've heard about this guy before but here's an extensive article in the Washington Post about a guy who spent about $1 million and most of his life building a stereo setup in his tract split level house in Richmond, Virginia. A good read and at one point the author references Klipsch: "By the 1950s, the first bulky hi-fis were marketed for home use, blowing open the closed feel of the old phonographs — and offering a newly affluent nation a sophisticated new field of connoisseurship to conquer.
