IndyKlipschFan
So is the Question... Does a College educated "suit" investment professional confess to his friends that he likes WWE Wrestling? Never!! To all of you on the Klipsch Forum... Give me a HELL YEAH!! LOL I know it is sad.. I look at it like a "mans soap opera." Good vs Evil.. who knows why? This weekend is Wrestlemania... This Sunday night, cranked up 4 hrs of PPV World Wrestling Entertainment, on my 61 inch TV and Klipsch speakers... It's going to be fun. That, and a lot of you already know I love to sing too. I have 2 pairs..(4) La Scalas.. LSI versions and Klipsch monitors too. Add lights and pro gear, in what I know is the best Karaoke system in Indy. Going further I am building a room sometime this summer complete with a stage and lights to have the American Idol theater too. LOL. Those of you in Indy, if you dare to come by this summer for the Klipschfest II, you can see and hear it also. As far as crank Billy Idols White Wedding. Sheer unadulterated, pounding, from the once King, now Grandfather, of Punk Rock. Horribly recorded, lousy playing, sloppy, sappy and terribly fun." In 1990 Billy had a major accident on a motor cycle was in the hospital and really not doing anything but recover for 6 months. Sitting at home he re evaluated a lot of things. OK too much info...LOL.. I love this song, and love doing it too. LOL. I think that is more than enough info you need to know about me for one day! Rdmarsiii
Ok, well, I think Im probably the worst... Every once in a while... Cher. I know, but I like the bass. Gosh darn it. Well, I guess I feel alittle bit better... or worse.
Joe Shmoe
HMMM, I guess sometimes when I am by myself and in that kind of mood I listen to Dire Straits - On Every Street, Celine Dion... I really don't like her but she has a great voice. As far as Michael Jackson, you have to own Thriller, it's a classic. I like his BAD album... cranking Dirty Diana, hey at least theres a decent guitar in that tune. As for all the 80's stuff.. I don't feel bad cranking that 24-7, I am proud to have grown up in that era

Thats over a year ago. This thread keeps coming back. I suppose good topics are hard to kill. ---------------- Interesting moon, I love the little tune that plays in the background of the Lowe's commercials. I've tried to find a sample of it online so I can do some mixing with it, but with no luck thus far. I also really liked the background tune on the Boeing commercials, but I haven't seen one of those in a while now.

Joe Shmoe
Now that I think about it more... Eddie Van HAlen played giutar on "Beat It" and I think it was Slash who played on Dirty Diana, right?

Joe Shmoe
Well, I looked at the cd and it just listed Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) I could have swore I saw Slash play on something of his... maybe it was just something newer??

IndyKlipschFan
"When I Think About You I Touch Myself." What a great song. Even better video! Right up there with Cindy Laupers "She Bop....." And they wonder why Norah Jones..."I dont know why... I didn't come...sold so may cd's to older perverted men??? LOL. Recently read a story something like 65-70% of all jazz cd's sold last year were Norah Jones. Gentilemen...she is good, but not THAT good. I know my opinion but geeze... too many sheep following the herd.

They could have sold even more cds if they'd done a "Make Norah Come" promotional contest (a joint effort between her label and Viagra). The winner would get a Norah Jones concert in their town. What were you thinking??

fini
You can't sleep either, Ed?
HornEd
Actually, fini, since I broke my neck a couple of decades ago, I can only sleep for about three hours and then I do some pain management by mental discipline rather than pills... it's my thing! Since I have to be up... I try to get some work done... and, perhaps, a bit of Forum play. I have a court appearance in the morning with a disgruntled person's nuisance suit... and completed my legal brief for the trial prior to unwinding on the Forum a bit. As you know, I am not an attorney but my business experience (and some law school too) has helped me understand and support my JD colleagues... so I can get back to my DJ frolics. I was happy to learn this morning that the letter I wrote for an embattled friend caused a major bank in California to alter its policy and restore enough money to his account to buy any of the Northern California Klipschorns recently for sale. And, he got a letter of apology from the bank as well. It's fun to see justice done! It looks like I will acquire my third set of Khorns for the current project before the week is out. Good luck on finding your corners my friend! -HornED PS: It's time to get some beauty zzzz's, I can really use them. Talk to your after court.
