Scott,

Welcome to the Klipsch Family!

You will find that there are many La Scala fans on the BB. Amplification varies depending on your planned use for them. Wheather as music only or incorporated into a Home Theater setup. If you are interested in a music only setup, just post in the 2 Channel area and you will get a wealth of recommendations from tubes to some viable Solid State amps. If destined for use in a Home Theater setup, the try the Home Theater area.

Best to ya and hope you enjoy your La Scalas.

Wes

Scott,

The first thing I would do is install real binding post's.

I would they rewire them.

After you do the above and listen to them for awhile you could upgrade to the ALK crossovers.

I went the other route and changed the crossovers out first. I still have not rewired them or added new binding posts.

i did rewire my Cornwalls and added the posts. I do not see how I could improve them (the Cornwalls) anymore. Big improvement.

Enjoy your speakers.

Danny

I am a newbie to the board also. After years of trial and error, I have found that it all depends on your own hearing curve. Tubes to me are great, to others, dead. The main thing is that you bought Klipsch!
