fini
I ordered some 15 ga. IXOS speaker cable from Accessories4Less. It was $.49 per foot. It's some of that braided stuff. Pretty colors (light/dark purple/black), would go with your furnishings, Mark! fini
NOSValves
Rick, I can tell you right now there is no way your going to "Crown Royal" me into buying any high dollar smoke and mirror wires period mark. Now if you feel compelled to spend your money to see I have these offerings feel free !! Craig
sunnysal
well andy....if jeff decides to build me a preamp I will have an "extra" preamp, a 7T, sitting around. but so far no luck, it seems the preamps are a bear to build and not really profitable for jeff. maybe I will buy 7C...regards, tony
Clipped and Shorn
What is the best way to extend a speaker wire if you need a few extra feet? Can the audio signal transfer through a twisted and soldered splice just like their cruder proletarian brethren who run motors, heaters, and light fixtures? I guess I could bite the bullet and toss the 6'ers and replace with a new run of 8'ers, but I just wondered how bad it is to splice (and solder) an extension onto a speaker cable. How much worse can a good splice be compared to what happens inside a bananna plug connection? C&S
fini
Mark, Are you saying we could be using human hair for speaker cable? Oh, great...have you looked at my head? fini
