Orange Peel
Here's the pics I took a little while ago, not the best but you can get the idea of how much room they take up and what I had to do with the SVS. Sorry the quality isn't the best but I was in a rush Links.... http://members.cox.net/scott2049/images/rf72.jpg http://members.cox.net/scott2049/images/rf5.jpg http://members.cox.net/scott2049/images/rf52.jpg http://members.cox.net/scott2049/images/rf53.jpg http://members.cox.net/scott2049/images/svs.jpg I will try to take better ones later for you all to enjoy. Bill H.
Orange Peel, thanks for letting us see your set up! BTW I see you have a source for a finger print problem on your hands- he he......... thanks.
JewishAMerPrince
Tight...very tight! (that's my 13 yo son's comment) I think the setup looks great. You probably would get some improvement in bass quality if you could figure out how to get the SVS further out from the walls of the corner. I have my 2039pci in a corner about 2.5 ft out from each wall. Bass response was reduced from close placement to the walls, but the lows are far far smoother. m00n
Right on OP... Looks like a sweet setup. Nice looking house.
prodj101
why not move the rack to the outside so that the RF-7's can be equal distance from the tv?
PYRO
Nice setup.
skonopa
Nice - I can only imagine how proud you must be with that (especially since mine is nearly identical ). That TV you got sure looks sweet - that'll be my next big upgrade - but that won't happen for a few more years. I'll have to take some new pictures of my setup. Also, to answer your question from a another thread about the RF-5s. I have the RF-5s set to large and the RS-7s set to small. Having the RF-5s set to large, to me made them sound better with music, which is what I primarily use them for, while the RS-7s come into play while watching TV and most movies (system used about 50/50 music/movies or tv). As an aside, I can see that you are wearing a red shirt while taking those pictures (look at the mirrors in those pictures ).
Jimbo357
Orange- Sweet dumptruck! LOL The system looks nice also. Jim
JasN00b
heh i liked how you tucked the SVS cables underneath that mat >=)
mattbugz
Saweet!! One question though. How well do the surrounds work the way you have them pointed towards the center of the room?? It's something that I haven't tried w/ my surrounds. Standard setup has surrounds pointing straight back towards each other.
dougdrake
Scott - Quit watching movies and get outside and do some landscaping. Weather in the 80's - it's plantin' time my friend!! (JK, of course. Been inside as well running interconnects from office to media room for streaming Internet into the house audio system.) DD
SteelerFan
Very nice! And I'm jealous of the big screen. I elected to go with a 36" direct view because I was afraid the big screen would look too dark to me. Oh well next time....
RangerSix
Nice HT, of course I am a bit bias, your set up looks identical to mine.
