Stephen328 Posted March 25, 2003 Share Posted March 25, 2003 Well, I just got my RF-5s 2 weeks ago and love em. The other day I decided to count my subwoofer fund and it came to $472! Alot more that I expected. By the end of the week it should contain a good $672. So im thinking sub. My room is pretty small (12 x 11), yeah I hate it, nuttin I can do. Anyway I could get a 10 for $750+tax at Tweeter, or a 12 for a cool grand. Im thinkin to wait a little while and just order a 10 online. Ok, now that ive babbled, my true question is, how much better would a 12 really be than a 10, especially in my room? Now thats a run on sentence. Thanks for your time, I cant wait to get a sub. Jim Cornell Posted March 26, 2003 Share Posted March 26, 2003 SVS Nothing personal at all, ive been here 3 years, i own 4 Klipschorns, as well as Klipsch theater 2 times, the outcome, im not to hot on the subs, they just dont have it! Maybe the reference 15 inch, ive had synergy 8, 10 Then again i had cornwalls LOL Anyway i couldnt hear the dam sub, thats where the 18inch i built came in!
