Willard Scott in addition to weather reporting also used to (still does ?) interview very elderly people on their birthdays. Scene: Willard is seen standing beside a wheelchair containing a rather disgruntled looking and obviously ancient lady. I front of her is a huge birthday cake with enough candles to rekindle the Chicago fire. Willard : Well Mother Martin ! How does it feel to be 103 years old today ? Mother M: Consider the alternative YOU DAMNED FOOL ! Willard staggered back a couple of steps gasping with laughter and barely managed to hang on to his microphone cord.
