onadi
What should I set my Rf-3 fronts to when I add an SVS to the HT? Thanks
dougdrake
You'll have to try it both ways to see what sounds best to you. No hard/fast rule. DD

Dustin B
I'll say it, definately small. Rather than rehash it here Brian Florian did an excellent job explaining what is going on over at AVS. Here is a link to where I quoted it in another thread on HTF: http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htforum/showthread.php?&postid=739537#post739537 And from that one, this article at Secrets of HiFi was born: http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_9_3/feature-article-multiple-crossovers-9-2002.html
elgrillo
When I had my 3's with a 2531 pci, it sounded much better having them set to small. But my 7's sound better set to large so you definetely have to compare the 2 since I think it might be very equipment dependant.
Scipio80
I have the rf3II's with 2039 pci. In my room 13X18X8 music sounds much better with speakers set to small.

Scipio80
When the time comes I will get one as of right now, I'll make due with the one. Actually when the time comes I'll probably be getting at least dual ultras, alas the time has not yet come.
easylistener
I have the same set up and I have mine set to small and the cutoff at 60hz. This works best for my room. I found the RF3II sound a little better at 60 for everything. I think this is because those 8's don't have to try and go so low. Just my thoughts though.
