moondawg
On the back of early Heresy's the speaker connection has two screws and two bolts as shown in the attached pic. What are the bolts for? Is this so you can use either the supplied screws or nuts on the upper bolt posts? Thanks for your indulgence...

The terminals go inside and no screws go in the upper holes. Win dodger
Frzninvt
Using bare wire or spade lugs attach the speaker wire by unscrewing the flat head screws sliding the wire under them and re-tighten. As dodger stated the top part of the plastic should have red paint on one side to indicate the positive terminal.
moondawg
OK, so the bolts above the screws have no function? Thanks again,
ricktate
I think those bolts should have nuts on them,,i think those bolts go through the back panel to deliver the signal to the crossover...take the back off and look.....or the bolts hold the block on the panel,,,,but still need nuts on them i would say....rick
Frzninvt
The top screws hold the terminal block onto the back cover, they DO NOT need nuts on them the metal inserts on the block are threaded and keeps them secure.
