JesseNYC
Well, more upgrades since my first posting almost 2 years ago. I just replaced my KG4 loudspeakers with the RF-15 loudspeakers. I love the quality of the Reference speaker. I know that the SF-1 or SF-2 would have been a better match but I could not justify paying significantly more for them. Oh well, I guess my next mission to totally replace the Synergy components with Reference components.
prodj101
I think the RF-15's would perform better in certain areas then the SF-1's or 2's. either way, great looking set up. do you have any noise complaint issues?
3dzapper
Nice set-up Jesse. Have you tried moving the RFs a bit farther apart and toeing them in? Put that ottoman in front of that nice comfy love seat so that I can take a nap. Thanks.....ZZZZZZZZZ Rick
marksdad
actually looks pretty cool, except you should try to give your componentsa a little more breathing room, the grills off look looks cool
fini
Jesse, If there were a way for you to bring that center speaker down (maybe under the TV?), to be closer to being in-line with the RF-15's, you'd probably enjoy a more cohesive front soundstage. You know, as a sound goes from the left, to the center, then to the right speaker, it goes straight across. Nice job painting the room to match the copper cones! fini
JesseNYC
prodj101 - My neighbors just told me the other day that we're quit and they never hear us. Perhaps it has something to do with my building's pre-war construction. 3dzapper - I've moved them a foot in each direction and toed-in as suggested. Sounds great, thanks. marksdad - If I was a good boy, Santa may give me a new AVR. That'll free up space on the rack for better circulation of air. If Santa says I wasn't good, then I'll get it myself! fini - I used to have it below when I had less components. Perhaps if I get a new toy for XMas and my lovely bride let's me move the VCR to the other room, they'll be enough for a move. The paint matching was purely coincidental! (wink) Thanks to all for the comments!
m00n
Oh man, love the color of your walls. Seriously. I want a nice rich bold red like that too, but we have blue carpet and it just would not look good. Great looking setup!

Antagon
Those new reference speakers looks fantastic, nice and smooth, not like my sharp boxy RF3s
tequillakid
do you still have the kg4's?
picky
Jesse: You have a really nice-looking (and I am sure, nice sounding, too) setup. I also like the grills off of the mains. They look cool! Love the color of the leather furniture. I can see why you are proud of your setup. Nice going, man! Thanks for posting the photos for us! -Picky

They were a wedding gift from my brother 16 years ago. Perhaps I'll do a nice little 2 channel setup. Thanks for the comments all! I am currently in the middle of a small rewiring project. I want to take advantage of my AVR's ability to bi-amp and my RF-15's ability to accept bi-wiring. I wonder what that'll sound like!!! kenratboy
Very nice! That apartment looks huge. Any reason the TV is that high up? My little 27" TV got HUGE when it went from 4.5' off the ground onto a 24" stand. I wish santa would be nice to me, but santa will be getting me this (http://www.escortradar.com/gtimer.htm) and some other stuff for my car. Santa will not be delivering any consumer electronics this year.
JesseNYC
I purchased the Bell'o table before I got the television for my audio components. When I purchased the RPTV, I considered getting the table designed for the TV but I like my table instead. It's hardly noticable when you're viewing it. Well, I just added XM Radio as another music source. It really sounds great in here!

newlex
HT looks really nice. Where did you get that table for your TV? I could really use one of them. THanks
