3dzapper
In 1983 I wanted a brand new boat. My wife asked me how I was going to pay for it. I took my pack of cigarettes threw them in the trash and said right here. I bought my new boat. And two more over the next few years. I don't have a boat now, I've got cigarettes. I'll quit when I get to 210 about April or May. If I could ever talk my wife into quitting it would be a lot easier. Rick

maxg
After a quick play with my calculator converting metric to imperial measurements I am 5 foot 9 and 170 lbs which means I am the forum's dwarf. Oh joy! From what I remember Kelly is a giant too - must be the hormones in your burgers to get all you Americans this big. I'm about average height over here (although the younger generation seem to be getting bigger). At least I found giving up cigarettes easy - I have done it many times!!! neo33
"After a quick play with my calculator converting metric to imperial measurements I am 5 foot 9 and 170 lbs which means I am the forum's dwarf." What? You mean we're imperialist? "At least I found giving up cigarettes easy - I have done it many times!!!" Max, I can do that, too!!! How about doing it for real now . maxg
"What? You mean we're imperialist?" Er....I am not going there. There is a rule at the top of the forum warning for this kind of thing. Boy that is a tempting debate though. I see a college paper entitled "compare and contrast the British Empire C.1830 to 1900 with US foreign policy 1960 to date..." Please dont - we will all be banned...
tillmbil
5'10" 190-195 lbs depending on the weekend food and beer intake. No cigarettes "of any kind" dam job. What do I do? Hey maybe start smoking and loose weight.
ben.
I had a friend in college who quit smoking in a most interesting way. Every time he wanted a ciggarette, he would smoke joint instead. Didn't work, but he was fun to hang out with.

Soundthought
There's some big dudes in this hobby. I remember standing next to Craig and Artto, last year, and feeling tiny by comparison. Heh. ...and i'm all but tiny. At 6'3", 195Lbs, i'm still "filling out" at a young 31. () Who knows? Maybe, i'll dwarf them after i'm done growing up. Ha Ha Ha Hauling this heavy a$$ gear around is really bulking me up. I've grown out of my pants and shirts, since last year. "Body by Stereo", I call it. Though, i'm at a loss as to why i'm getting taller. Maybe, the inverted workouts i've been doing for the last 4 years are starting to strech me out like Bobby Brady in that old Brady Bunch episode. Too funny.....but curious none-the-less. It's probably all just coincidence. My dad used to say the both he and my Grandfather kept growing until their early thirties. Makes you wonder, though. Regards, John.

Marvel
I feel rather hobbit sized compared to you guys. I'm 5' 8" and 145. I quit smokin' cigs about 26 years ago. Cold turkey. My wife can't stand cigarette smoke now, and although I don't like it, I can tolerate it. Marvel
