bdc
Well, I don't have anything special so don't laugh. 1986 Klipsch Fortes H/K 430 M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 (for my music server) JVC XL-V400 (a cd player made in 1985, still works fine, though I don't use it much) Fisher MT-100 turntable (I don't really know how to adjust it but it sounds decent, I don't think it spins at a constant speed though.) Pathetic huh?

Erik Mandaville
There was one pair of Moondogs on ebay that looked like it was quite well put together. I was also wondering (hoping) if someone may have gotten them.

ShapeShifter
Neo, Congrats on the Moondogs. I hope you are very pleased with them. For the past three days I have been evaluating the Jolida JD-100A Tube CD you suggested. I am very pleased with the performance of the stock unit. Its new out-the-box play delivered VERY good imaging. Closing my eyes I could easily identify the position of instruments and voices, with the added plus of more depth and texture to the sound. The Jolida produces more a wider soundstage too. The wider Left to Center to Right delivery enables the speakers to disappear leaving me with an enveloping sound of music. In stock form, in my system, this player is a keeper. I expect further improvements as it settles in from more usage. Thanks for recommending the JD-100A! neo33
"Thanks for recommending the JD-100A!" Glad I can help. With a level-1 mods, you'll get a holographic imaging and a more liquid sound.

neo33
Edmond, I got my pair locally a month ago (factory wired) with ultimate upgrade, MagneQuest OPTS and premium NOS tubes for $1,500.
jazman
Neo, Congratulations on a very good deal. When can I expect to get an email for an audition? I'd also like to hear your Jolida CDP. I hope to have a few week days off in April when I can avoid traffic. Klipsch out.
