Shade
Paul, your mentioning the Heresies as computer speakers brings back some memories. In '94 or '95 or so I had my 486-66 with its SoundBlaster 16 hooked up to the old 1982 Kenwood receiver feeding the Heresies. Doom II never sounded so good! Hey, Doom III comes out soon. The Heresies may just be moving to the office . . . heh heh heh. I don't see any reason not to put a good set of speakers on a PC. I think when Doom was out I had a Pioneer SX-1050 & pioneer floorstanders with 15"s hooked up. Friends LOVED it. May not have been Klipsch, but still great when you're a kid. My main PC's always been hooked up to whatever main system I've been running, currently a Reference 7.1 setup. Once you get used to it, you can't go back to those little desktop speakers. sunnysal
I hooked my k-horns up to my walkman once...no amp, just the frayed wires that came from the headphone jack...it sounded pretty good! and pretty loud too! tony
TheEAR
"Most obscene use of K'Horns!" I was afraid we were going to see a link to some very kinky porno site. Or a picture of someone listening to a John Tesh album. Or some weird combination. Maybe BBB can "whip" something up? Why buys or listens to John tesh albums anyways? Anyone using Klipsch listening(endure)to John Tesh deserves to take two months worth of sleep pills at once.
kingdave
I believe that his use of the word "beck" was another bad joke... he was referencing to the previous beck reference "two turntables and a microphone"
