edwinr
A few hints for the women in our lives.
dougdrake
Yes, all our women in America are like this. Aren't they that way down under, edwinr?
Cal Blacksmith
In reality, If a wife did HALF of those things to her husband, she would want for nothing, and be treated like a queen! The list is as true today as it was in the 50s. This does not put down the woman, rather it shows the power she has over the state of the home and over her man! jdm56
I wonder which bodily orifice of mine my wife would stuff that list in?
Q-Man
I printed that up and left it on the kitchen island when I left for work this morning. Can't wait to see how she greets me when I get home tonight. It all depends on how she took it.

colterphoto1
I wonder about item 3 about being 'a little gay', don't know if that would help or hinder in today's modern times? Maybe the wifey would invite a friend over for a little naughty fun??
Daddy Dee
Thanks for a good laugh. I actually think this would be worthy of a little research to see if this article really could be found in library archives of GH from 1955. I think the text and maybe the pic may have had some editing done in the last 49 years. Looking at the pic, are the children having a tug of war to see who can rummage through mom's purse? Even my mother, who was a southern belle, would have not hesitated to use lethal force on children who did such!

ironwoods
Fini, I'd be more than a little worried about the Beaver, if i showed my wife this list.
edwinr
When I printed this off for my wife, I left it taped to the 'fridge in the kitchen. When I arrived back home it was still there, but all references to what women should do for men were changed around in favour of what I should do for her! I quietly removed the offending article and placed it in the garbage. I think I am happy with my current domestic arrangements - after all, she let me buy Klipschorns!
