Mighty Favog
I've had real good luck with (lemon) Pledge. It keeps wood's sheen at top levels. T2K
AVMAN,get one of those Billy Bags Black Sheepskin dusters.I bought one from Audio Advisor for $19.95 and it has a long handle and really does a job on speakers and especially on the components. You can easily dust the tops of your components as it fits in tight places. Gives me more time to scrub the floors and cook. Keith
BLOOMIS914
3 Words......Scott's Liquid Gold Now for the long-winded version: The best furniture/speaker polish known to man. Talk to wood experts and they are not fans of Pledge due to it actually drying out the wood over time...I think it's due to the alcohol content. Scott's Liquid Gold contains Petroleum Distillates (Oils) that help soak in to the surface and keep the wood looking beautiful. Ceedog
On the subject of these little dry wiping cloths,Swiffers and the like, that i guess use static to grab dust and bunnies. Is there any danger of taking out components if they are used on your gear?
justin_tx_16
i would not worry, there is very little power in those... really i think they just build up static, not enough to d oanything, not even shock you. that would never be a worry to me. i use them just to be safe... but the old english orange oil is really great for making wood shine! ------------------ -justin http://www.fortunecity.com/campus/berry/88/
