Champagne taste beer budget
Now we know how he got his name... When the other people in the dorm finally get him to answer their knocks on his door, the first thing they say is "Christ, Jared, turn that down!" christjared
Yea thats if I can hear them knocking on the door, the door is usually vibrating really bad! The blinds on the windows tend to look like they are being blown by a hard wind from outside! I have almosted knocked bottles of vodka off my neighbors shelf. tkot
what??? 129 is most likely enough to get you kicked out of your dorm! ive done mid 140's, without starting anything on fire!! ive had a couple of voice coil fires but didnt have a big enough meter to find out the fire-starter db level!! jay

dodger
For the minute that I tried mine, I used a calibrated professional meter. Results had to stand up in Court when checking for SPL and tagging someone. dodger

Is that loud compared to others? I thought it was fairly loud, but it could do better if our tester would messure over 130 db's. Let me know what you guys have tested out at. ---------------- Many others have already said it already. My 2 cents to the young and foolish: I was young once whether you believe that or not and I know you like it loud because I did. You are young but you are NOT indestructible, regardless of what you think. Permanent hearing damage is PERMANENT and it can happen to ANYONE regardless of age. Take a minute out of your time and think about it. Turn it down.
