ancientdude
I need to get a sub for around 4-500, any suggestions? about 60/40 music to movie usage, I was looking at the rw12 which can be had through brandnamez.com for 430...seems like a steal, But perhaps, there are better deals out there? Better bang for buck? Any input, will be greatly appreciated!
CECAA850
"Better bang for the buck?" DIY, SVS or HSU.
tommyboy
I have a RW10, but would second SVS. They're internet sale only, but they give you 30 days to return it for whatever reason. It would just be a pain in the butt to return it and all that. If you have a satelite city near you, see what they want for the RW12. I got my RW10 for 375, so.... SilverSport
See if you can't get a "demonstrator" Klipsch sub or I agree, Hsu or Outlaw Audio but that is $579 plus shipping... Bill
meuge
The RW-12 for $400 is a good deal, but the reliability of unauthorized online-only dealers is questionable at best. Brandnamez is a funky black-market company that is a coin-flip -> they either deliver good product for cheap or take your money and you spend the next couple of months trying to get it back. A more expensive, but much more trustworthy option is Dayton Titanic III 12" kit from partsexpress.com ($536) On the other hand, a used sub off Audiogon.com is also a good idea.
