Daddy Dee
That's odd. Amazon doesn't take any phone orders at all. If legitimate, it wouldn't seem right to offer phone service. Just wondering though, how could using it make you vulnerable to the usual ID theft?
fletcherkane
I was just at amazon today. They just opened a phone service according to the web site. Maybe the email is legit?
Cal Blacksmith
If Amazon has started phone orders, go to their website yourself, do not follow any links, get the phone number and call it and ask them! Just be sure you are dealing with the REAL Amazon.com
T2K
My redundant security and or MSN deleted the attachment. I guess I'll have to call tomorrow. I'll post the results here. I guess I could use $500. Thanks for the responses. Keith

Allan Songer
Ethical dilema. You buy an armload of LPs at the swap meet for $40. You get them home and start going through them, cleaning the jackets and the vinyl in order to either keep them or sell on ebay. Inside a copy of a Wes Montgomery record "California Dreaming" you find FOUR $100 bills tucked neatly inside the gatefold--they've been there for a LONG time--all of them were printed in the 1970's. What do you do? Do you go back to the same swapmeet next month and look for the seller? Do you put in in your pocket and spend it? I debated for some time and then finally gave the money to KKJZ here in Long Beach, the best jazz radio station there is. I think the guy who liked Wes so much he hid his money in the LP jacket would be OK with that!
Daddy Dee
Allan, That is a creative and decent way to handle the dilemma. Cool. Me.... I woulda kept the money.
